Duty, Continuous. See Continuous Duty.  
Duty. An obligation that is imposed by law or by contract.

Dynamo. An electrical power generator.  
Dynamometer. Device for measuring power output or power input of a mechanism.  
Dyne. A unit of force that, acting on a mass of one gram, increases its velocity by one centimeter per second along the direction that it acts.
